The importance of Lutein & Zeaxanthin.

Of the numerous carotenoids, only Lutein and Zeaxanthin are found in human eyes. Lutein and its isomer, Zeaxanthin, help eye health by absorbing short-wave light with high energy and protecting the photoreceptor cells in our eyes. The retinal amber pigment consists mainly of lutein and Zeaxanthin is located in the center of it. Lutein & Zeaxanthin are not produced in the human body, so they must be ingested in order to be absorbed.

If you send us a sample, we will analyze the contents of the synthetic (meso) Zeaxanthin free of charge. Synthetic (meso) Zeaxanthin is a substance that has a different molecular structure with natural Zeaxanthin and does not exist in the Marigold flower (natural source). Be sure to check that the Zeaxanthin in your product is derived from Marigold flowers.
